Compensation

• Paid every other Friday

Public Employees Retirement System (PERS)

• Employee contributes 10% of gross pay

Health Insurance

• Choice between HMO and standard major medical

• Dental and vision after one year of continuous employment

Life Insurance

• Effective after one year of continuous employment, equal to annual salary

Disability Leave

• Effective after one year of continuous employment

• One year lifetime maximum benefit

Adoption/Childbirth Leave

• Employee must work at least 30 hours per week to be eligible

Vacation Leave

• 80 hours (2 weeks) after one year of employment; 120 hours (3 weeks) after five years of employment

Personal Leave

• Allocated during the year and varies for bargaining unit and exempt employees

Sick Leave

• Accrues each pay period up to 80 hours per year

Bereavement Leave

• Three (3) consecutive days upon the death of a family member

Military Leave

• Paid leave up to 176 hours Holidays

Holidays

• Ten (10) paid holidays per year
