Prior Authorization is a process that will help an individual request additional services when the individual funding level exceeds the maximum value of the funding range that is determined for the individual by the Ohio Developmental Disability Profile (ODDP).

OAC 5101:3-41-12 is the ODJFS Prior Authorization Rule. This rule outlines the criteria and the timelines for Prior Authorization.
