CDF stands for Channel Definition Format.
The CDF Feed enables you to look at the ODMRDD Administrative Rules web pages without being connected to the Internet. It is also called offline browsing or working offline. When working offline, the system functions independently, regardless of any network connection, and rules content is read exclusively from your computer’s memory. However, some of the content may not be available to you offline. If the web page requested is not available from your computer’s memory, a window will pop-up and ask if you want to go online to view the content or continue working offline.
The CDF Feed allows you to take ODMRDD Administrative Rule content with you where ever you go with your computer. All necessary text, graphics, and files are placed on your hard drive for offline browsing. Offline browsing is an easy feature to use in Internet Explorer 4.0 and later.
To take advantage of this new feature on the ODMRDD Website, follow these steps to load the Administrative Rules web pages to your computer’s memory:
The ‘Add Favorite’ pop-up window will appear.
3. Click the checkbox to ‘Make available offline’.
4. Click the ‘OK’ button to complete the download process.
