On October 28th, from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM we will be unable to receive faxed security forms to the Security fax line 614-752-4673.
The Information Security group is working hard to find ways to streamline our processes, and increase production by finding more efficient means to guide our work flows. One of the initiatives that we have been working to put into place is a move away from capturing security applications (formerly known as security affidavits) via manual facsimile machines toward a fax service that allows us to keep the applications in a digital format.
This changes how we process applications that are faxed to us, but doesn't change how our customer base sends facsimiles to us. On October 28th at 4:00 PM we intend to cut our fax line over to our fax server from our current fax machine.
During the period that this cut-over occurs our ability to receive facsimiles from our consumer base will be inoperable. We anticipate the fax service being down no more than 30 minutes to an hour. As such we are asking our customer base to refrain from sending facsimile security applications between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Wednesday October 28th. We wish to convey our appreciation for your patience as we seek to implement streamlined efficiencies, and seek to find ways of making our security processes more responsive to our consumers.
