Designed for County Boards, Agency & Independent Providers. The new Department of Developmental Disabilities Medication Administration curriculum was recently released for use. This curriculum contains the new DODD approved Self-Administration Assessment form. This 2-hour training addresses:

  • OAC 5123:2-6-02 & 5123:2-6-05
  • What “assessment” means
  • Proper use of the new Self-Administration Assessment form
  • Assessing a-typical situations
  • How to document the results of the self-administration assessment form
  • When should the self-administration assessment form be redone
  • Who needs a nursing quality assessment review

Training meets Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) requirement towards eight hours of continuing
education/training every year for providers and is approved for 2 hours DODD Continuing Professional Development
Units.
