Offenders with Developmental Disabilities: Rights and Responsibilities
Below is information on the video conference titled Offenders with Developmental Disabilities: Rights and Responsibilities.
This training is from 9 a.m. to noon on September 9, 2009.
You are invited to an active discussion on the rights and responsibilities of offenders with disability and those with offending behaviors. A variety of perspectives will be presented from experienced professionals and families in our field. Presenters are Michael Kirkman representing Ohio Legal Rights, Vince Holland representing Probation and Parole, Deb Buccilla representing residential providers, Cindy Ison representing APSI, and a family guardian. There will be group discussion about scenarios of difficult cases.
Pre-registration is available at http://mrdd.ohio.gov/training. Seating is limited. Once you're on the website, click on Training and Registration System, then click on ODMRDD: Video Conference: "Offenders with Developmental Disabilities Rights and Responsibilities". To register find the location nearest you then click on register.
